Ken Barker is a highly accomplished musician and peforms on many international stages, but gliding has remained his passion since he grew up on airfields flying with his Father since the age of three.

With his 2nd and 4th placings in Nationals in recent years, Ken is eagerly looking forward to competing alongside team mate, Ian MacArthur, in the Cirrus he has so carefully restored.

Since winning the first competition he ever competed in, Ken has recorded some great medal placings and won the Manio cup for the fastest 300km flight in the UK.

Ken is also an experienced Commercial Airline Pilot.
