After ten days of exciting and close competition flying it is finally over, it took a nailbiting couple of hours for the results to be issued and it was not what we had hoped for.

In the club class Ayala lost her lead and ended up third overall, congratulations to Ayala on winning a podium place in her first World Championships, LIz ended up in 5th and Rose in 6th place.

In the standard Gill snook into 4th place after a good day and a cheeky
early start. Kay ended up 7th having tried the late start trick and Hannah proved her strength by holding
up the whole stack.

As always it is the ones who are at the top when the music stops, trouble is predicting when it will stop.

It has been a great comp and the girls have flown marvellously with
Ayala leading for most of the comp proving we have the potential that
next time we will once again be amongst the top places.
