Good morning the UK!
We have woken up to a beautiful bright sunny day today with crystal clear visibility and a really good feel about the air.
Tasks have been set, racing tasks for both classes 345.1k for the club class and 417.6k for the standards. They issue the task sheets before briefing here which is great as it gives the chaps time to mark their maps and programme ipaqs with out all the rushing you sometimes see at UK comps. Then they can concentrate in briefing and listen carefully to the heavily accented but very good English that Vytas the director speaks.
I’m off to secure good seats in briefing and will post this afterwards.
Ok briefing has finished, first possible launch is 12.00hrs
Ian and Ken are at the back of their grid today, but Howard and George are at the front of theirs.
