Thursday Practice Day 6 - Another Scorcher

The weather is holding on as very hot and blue, with a high dominating the area and temps of over 40deg C here on the ground. The 15M Class are on task which is a 420 km racing task to the South and then North. The 18M boys have a similar profile with a task length of 470km. Pete Harvey is staying on the ground fettling today.

Last night we were hosted by our sponsor company here to an evening at the ranch home of one of its members. Iced tea was the order of the evening, followed by a  TexMex buffet, and we witnessed some traditional dancing of a Mexican flavour from a local dancing school.

Tomorrow is the last training day before a rest day and the Opening Ceremony on Saturday. All the kit is working well on the ground and in the air, and the procedural glitches here are gradually being sorted out.
