Quite an exciting day today with a showery finish to the day. The 18's launched first and most rattled around the AAT and got home just before the heavens opened and drenched the airfield. Meanwhile the 15's and Opens were still battling round. Chris Starkey in 900 called 20K at 2,900 and just made it back to the airfield but Nick was not so lucky, landing out 35k from home. In the Opens a mixed bag, Pete firing up on the second leg and Kim only 10k out from the line. Steve, however, managed to sneak in through the rain to get home whilst many of the others above him in the table did not. All we now have to do is get a decent trace out of his second logger and get a score! The 18's had the best of it and between them are all doing well. Ed came in 3rd today, Russell 6th and Gary equal 7th. The big loser for the Day was Peter Eriksen who fired up the turbo on the second leg and drops from second overall to 7th. Today’s provisionals put Russell in 3rd, Ed in 5th and Gary in 8th. Still all to play for, all we need is more British weather!
