Good Morning from Uvalde!

Good morning world Baldrick here.

Ok finally arived here in Uvalde courtosy of BA. Spent a day in Houston trying to help Ed come to an arraingement for an escort into the docks to collect the gliders when they finally arrive. Had news that the ferry is about 5 days late but no explanation from the shipping agent as yet.

Saturday was involved with collecting the RV (caravan to you and me) from Austin that was a wee 500 mile drive and deliver it to our parking place stay overnight and then travel back to the airport at Houston to collect Petes (MY) brand new Antares 23 and take it to Uvalde as well. However, customs had another idea. I arrived at the airport at 0900 as planned met up with the very helpful Andy Sandhoefer from team Austria who also flies 747's for cargolux for the day job. The glider had already been unloaded and could be seen tantalisingly close on the other side of the fence just wating to be collected. Without boring you with all the details I didn't leave Houston till 1630 last night finally getting here just after 0100.

Off to the airfield now to see who has arrived and suss out what goes where. Oh and before I forget its only 0945 here and already its 38C and the weathermen are forcasting it to get up to about 44C thisafternoon. But the real killer is the humidity......84% according to the local radio station.

Once I have downloaded my camera I will put some photos up for you to see.
