Today, Friday, is the final practice day, with weather continuing very hot and blue, with ground temperatures up to 40degC. All the pilots except Russell have decided to have a rest day. Russ will be flight testing his engine, and his 18M task is a modest racing task of 334km. 

Tomorrow there is no flying as we have a parade downtown and opening ceremony in the city stadium. I do not think it will quite compare with the Olympics opening, but it will be good to see the welcome the Teams get from the Uvalde Community.
