Day 4 (well nearly for the Standard class!)

Yesterday the grid launched into what was some really challenging conditions. The sky was cycling quickly with shear wave setting up overhead and there was a threat of showers in the late afternoon. The task for the Club class was 240k and the Standard class had a 2 hour AAT. The club started first with Matt and Andy starting together and Luke starting 15minites later. Unfortunately because of the tricky conditions Matt and Andy landed out as they were caught off cycle. Luke made it a bit further but was washed out of the sky near the first turn.

The Standard boys started and made it to both sectors before being caught with the rain. When we were stood on the airfield under cover in terrential rain about 4hours after the start someone called finish and we couldnt see him untill he stopped.

In the end there werent enough people passed 100K in the standard class to make it a contest day.

Today is an official rest day with international evening tonight.
